Job Posting: Argentina Country Manager (based in Buenos Aires, Argentina)

*This role can be structured as full-time or part-time depending on your capabilities Kickoff is hiring a Country Manager to help us expand our fast growing startup across Argentina. This is a unique opportunity to work with a high-performance, New York based company that is expanding across the globe. Kickoff is a dating app that helps people find quality connections by introducing them to single people that their friends know. We have reached a massive user base only 10 months after launching and continue to grow at an explosive rate, supported by widespread positive press coverage. Kickoff has global ambitions. We’re currently live in the eight biggest Brazilian cities and are the most popular dating app amongst the upper class in Brazil. Kickoff just launched in Buenos Aires in October 2015 and is growing rapidly there. We need a country manager to support our growth. Kickoff is looking for a Country Manager to lead our expansion efforts in Argentina.

In this role, you will: • Serve as the spokesperson for Argentina. • Conduct interviews with journalists. • Develop partnerships with party promoters and events companies. Negotiate to have Kickoff serve as a sponsor for events that reach our target user base of young, social and single people • Develop partnerships with celebrities, influencers and bloggers to promote Kickoff • Manage our Argentinian public relations firm – Set target metrics for the PR firm to achieve and collaborate with the PR firm to create press releases and distribute them. • Develop a college-rep program so that Kickoff achieves traction at the major universities • Work closely with engineering and product teams to relay feedback from users in Argentina • Find new and creative ways to tell people across Argentina about Kickoff • Develop marketing ads in Spanish to be used to advertise Kickoff We're looking for: • A self-motivated, hard-working and results-oriented problem solver • Someone with relationships (or the ability to create them) with tastemakers, party promoters, influencers, bloggers, celebrities, party promoters, etc. • Someone who is passionate about our mission • Native Spanish speaker with fluency in English Bonus points if you have: • 5+ years of experience at high performance organization (e.g. consulting, banking, MBA) • Marketing and growth experience • Worked on apps used by millions of people • Prior startup experience What's in it for you? • Competitive compensation in a venture backed and high-growth company • Opportunity to work on an exciting, challenging venture and help shape and grow a product that will be used by people all over the world. • Join a smart, driven team that values transparency, positivity, collaboration, ingenuity, and quality results • Ability to pay in US dollars depending on your specific situation and compliance with applicable regulations
