Publicity & Corporate Communications Assistant

(Outsourcing)

Location: Olivos – Pilar (Km 47,5)

Objective: With a dual role focused on regional assistance and local execution, the Comms Assistant for Publicity and Corp. Comms. supports the execution of integrated communication plans for product launches and the Company´s businesses visibility. Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm properties scope a diverse range of consumer experiences such as: Disney Channels and local productions, film releases, consumer products, live events, radio, digital worlds and games, among others.

This dynamic position within a service department centers on a continuous collaborative work and a permanent dialogue and cooperation with other teams around Latin America and US Headquarters.

Responsibilities:

·         PR and Corp. Comms. Materials management: Coordination of translations, approvals and distribution.

·         PR and Corp. Comms. Materials creation: Creative writing. Screenings and events management: assistance in the coordination of films, shows and other screenings place, date, press invitation and attendance.

·         Media Pitching: Handling pitch’s with Argentinian outlets.

·         PR and Corp. Comms. Opportunities: Assistance in the coordination among territories and with talent –local and US Based- PR opportunities such as phoners, set visit, long lead days, press conferences, etc.

·         Clipping: Daily follow up of media clipping and clipping report creation.

·         Media Date Base: Management of Argentina media data base.

·         SAP: Support and follow up of outsourcing payments.

·         Twitter and other social platforms: Content creation and publishing strategy for LatAm PR Twitter Handle.

Experience:

·         At least 1 year of experience working on PR/Comms agencies or in house PR/Comms teams. 

·         Knowledge of the local PR Landscape.

·         Knowledge of the Latin America PR Landscape / Background on the entertainment industry or mass consuming products.

Education:

·         Bachelor on Mass Communications, Journalism, Literature, Public Relations or similar.

Other considerations:

·         Advanced level of English is a must.

·         Portuguese is a plus.

·         Advanced knowledge on Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
