Communications Manager

As GSK’s Communications Manager, you will have a key and strategic role within our business. Directly reporting to our VP & GM for Argentina & Southcone, and being part of the executive committee, you will be responsible for engaging our employees & external stakeholders with a consistent GSK voice that builds trust, enhances performance & drives growth. You will also be strategically accountable for crisis management and risk communication for GSK.
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, such as:
• Develop and ensure the strategy and implementation of external (media and digital) and internal (change management and culture) communications for Argentina, engaging employees and external key stakeholders with business ambition and strategies, building GSK reputation and trust.
• Support & councel our VP & GM for Argentina & Southcone in the implementation of external and internal communications plans.
• Provide active support, from the external and internal communications perspective, to key commercial activities. This includes working closely, with brand managers and Medical team.
• Actively coordinate of Sustainability and CSR initiatives ensuring alignment with the global responsibility pillars and as part of Build Trust Agenda.
• Build effective relations at senior levels to be able to effectively predict future environmental changes and coordinate GSK response
• Provide support to VP & GM in the coordination and implementation of GSK Reputation (Build Trust) agenda with key stakeholders.
• Actively represent GSK in industry and association chambers
In order to achieve these goals, we are looking for professionals who have:
• Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs or similar degree level;
• At least 5 years of previous experience in senior leadership positions, within a big and matrixed corporation;
• Extensive knowledge in a broad range of communications disciplines for the effective management of internal and external stakeholders engagement;
• Solid skills for proper counselling and support of high-ranked executives in their communications needs, including speech writing, messaging, media briefings and employee communications;
• Good and established relationships with key influencers and journalists from relevant media;
• Experience in having close interaction with different business units, aiming at the proper design of plans to support their strategies;
• Media management expertise;
• Fluent English, native spanish
